North Korean electric systen lost its energy because of football

The latest match of North Korean team against Portugal is reported to be the first time a North Korean game played on foreign soil has been broadcast live back home.

It was a risky decision. Nord Koreans they played so well against Brazil in the last game, so no-one would have imagined that they'd lose so big this time. Finally, Portugal won 7 - 0. But North Korean authorities decided to stop broadcsting when the score was only 4 - 0. They said it was just an electricity failure.

That means North Korean football fans - at least, those with both a TV set and a reliable electricity supply - will be allowed to see live their team's matches at World Cup 2010.
